Susan Rheingans is an outstanding vocal coach. I have been taught by Susan for 6 years now, and it's amazing what I have learned from her, and the singer I've become because of her. She teaches you to grow with your voice, and builds your confidence as a singer in the process. You not only learn vocal skills, but performance skills as well. After just one year with her, you can already hear the difference in your voice. I am so honored that I've had the pleasure of working with her these past years. She helped me grow as a singer, and prepared me to go off on my own to college, into the field she inspired me to go into: Music education.

It has been so exciting to watch my voice change as I've taken lessons with Susan.  M y favorite moment was when I sang a song for my family that I was preparing for an audition.  I have invested a lot of my life in giving my children music lessons.  My kids have been very successful and have traveled abroad singing. After I finished singing my audition song for them, they sat for a moment in a kind of awed silence, and then one of them said, 'Wow!  Your voice really has changed.'  I've always enjoyed singing, but now I have the confidence that I'm doing it the right way and that others can enjoy my singing, too.

Susan Rheingans has been one of the best teachers that I have worked with for voice. Without her generosity and professionalism, I would not be where I am today. She has undone over three years of bad teaching in under six months.  I am a hearing impaired student and she has worked very hard to get me to be the best that I can be.  I would recommend her to all of my friends and their friends, because her students are amazing.

Susan Rheingans is the best vocal coach anyone could ask for. She not only helps you be the best you can be at the present moment, but helps you reach the goals you need for future success. I came into her studio as a scared sixth grader who would literally find her way out of any performance possible (usually by pretending to be sick/actually having performance anxiety that made me sick) and left a confident, incoming freshmen at my first choice college. I now can confidently stand up and sing in front of my aural skills class whereas some are still nervous to sing in front of their classmates. I have confidence in my vocal and musical abilities and I truly thank Susan for helping me overcome my fears. Susan will help singers overcome their stage fright, expand their range while making the tone of their voice sound its best, she will help with sight reading and aural skills as well as music theory, and most importantly she will teach you how to take care of your instrument. Susan will give you the tools for future success and works to help you achieve your dreams.
